It’s that time of year again so i hope you have all had a great time practicing your photography in the summer time as it is almost over. I know it is sad BUT the great news is that autumn is an excellent time for taking portrait photographs. As a photographer colour is such an importrant aspect of your photos and in the autumn you are blessed with all of these beautiful colours. The leaves change colour and go from green to orange, yellow and brown. You get a lot of blue skies which a photographer you can use to your advantage – a lot of photographers don’t like it because of harsh shadows but as a photographer in South London I love it. If you get your setting right then you can get some stunning photographs.
When taking portrait photographs in autumn you get the added bonus of the cold weather. No I haven’t gone crazy! With the cold weather comes the cold weather clothing. Photos of people in their scarfs and hats look amazing!
